Some incredible news: My first book, Les Portes, won the 2025 Center for African American Poetry and Poetics Book Prize from the University of Pittsburgh and Autumn House Press! Les Portes charts generations of harm against women and femmes, in my life and otherwise, alongside the interlocking issues of domestic violence and mass incarceration. It will be published and available for purchase in spring 2026.
